Our management personnel has recently attended the Food Safety Management Training HALAL and HACCP which is organised by the Ministry of Human Resources and under the initiative of PENJANA HRDF. The five days training course was held on 21st till 25 December 2020 in Melaka.

En. Maarof Ngah Abu, En. Rizzuan Arief Zulkifli and our Executive Chef Peter Abdulrahim has attended this course with purpose to gain more knowledge and understanding about GMP awareness, HACCP awareness training, GMP and HACCP internal audit training, Halal Awareness training and certification awareness training is relevantly important for our company’s future planning and expansion.

COURSE OVERVIEW

This course developed for Food Handler and Food Operators involved in receiving, preparation, storage and serving of food and about food safety management system in an establishment, requirements according to MS1480:2019 HACCP and MS1514:2009 GMP, requirements for HALAL system in food and beverages industry, and the procedures and flow for HALAL which is one of the requirement to maintain HALAL certification.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE

The training is designed to help participant to become an accountable food handler with certain traits, knowledge and skill as below:

  • Have an awareness of regulations in the food industry.
  • Able to identify the components of a Food Safety Program / Food Safety Management System / GMP / HACCP.
  • Develop the hygiene and food safety program. Also able to monitor food safety management system that supports HALAL.
  • Establish components of HALAL requirements and a HAS System.
  • Understand and be able to perform an internal audit for HACCP / HALAL standards.
